The Sacred Parks Project

Fall is here (depending on where you are)...As the summer has drawn to a close, what has been revealed to you?

Recently, I've been trying to pay attention to the ordinary...The falling leaves and the smell of the autumn air, or the paths that aren't striking in their own right, but remind me of other paths I've taken many times before: familiar-looking trails through the woods, or non-descript hallways of the building where I work. Then, in a moment when I don't expect anything unusual or amazing, I walk around a corner that seems like a million others I've rounded...and then, I meet an experience I have never had before. Then I'm reminded that God meets me in the ordinary, in extraordinary ways. -Paul
