At The Sacred Parks Project, we believe that living is a journey. Not a romanticized journey that no one can relate to, but a way of life that approaches care for the planet out of a sense of adventure (not fear.) That's why we frame our hiking, camping, biking and other outings through the lens of faithful daily life and stewardship, beyond parks. Please join us for any of the following:
Our "Hiking by Faith" nature outings
For "Hiking by Faith", our Interpretive Naturalist Jessica Dawson will help lead us on faith-led journeys through some of our finest local, state, and (in one case, national) parks this year. Already, with your enthusiasm and support, we have proven that even cold weather won't keep us off the trail! Check out the official HBF page for new events.
Sacred Parks Camping Events Coming soon
Whether its a quick overnight camping trip, or a two or three-day backcountry journey, The Sacred Parks Project wants YOU to join. We'll help each other find the sacred, and meet up in the parks!
Biking by Faith cycling runs and gatherings
In a way similar to our "Hiking by Faith" outings, Sacred Parks hopes to assemble several bicycling outings this spring and summer - inviting you to exercise, cover a lot of ground, and possibly do some ground-breaking service to your community. Check back soon for events!
